♻️ The Power of Persistent Prayer
by Her True Worth
Hello friend! I hope you've been having a blessed week. For this issue, we'll be exploring a critical aspect of our faith life - persistent prayer. Prayer is not just about asking once, but it's about continually knocking on God's door with faith and patience.

Keep asking, keep searching, keep knocking… (Matthew 7:7 HCSB)
🙏 Prayer of the Week
Dear God,
We come before You today with open hearts, fully aware of the remarkable power that resides in prayer. Lord, help us to comprehend the magnitude of this tool you have given us. Instill in us a spirit of perseverance that will allow us to pray with relentless faith, believing that You hear us and will answer us according to Your perfect will.
In Jesus' name, amen.
📖 Weekly Scripture
"Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints." - Ephesians 6:18 (HCSB)

Pray with persistence. Pray at all times.
🔦 Devotional Spotlight
Our scripture for this week from Ephesians encourages us to pray persistently and never give up. The verse exhorts us to "pray at all times" and to "stay alert in this with all perseverance," which highlights the necessity of persistent prayer in our spiritual journey.
It can be easy to pray once and then move on if we don't see immediate results, but this isn't what God encourages. Instead, He invites us to be like the persistent widow in Luke 18, who kept asking for justice until it was granted. Similarly, we should come before God with our requests, not just once, but continually, and with an expectation that He hears and answers our prayers.

God is faithful, let’s stay faithful in prayer.
Furthermore, our prayer life should not only be about our needs but should also include intercession for others. As the body of Christ, we are called to bear one another's burdens and to lift each other up in prayer.
So, let's not be discouraged if the answer to our prayers doesn't come immediately. Instead, let us persevere, knowing that God is faithful. He hears our prayers and will answer in His perfect timing. Our job is to keep praying, keep asking, and keep trusting in His unfailing love for us.

♻️ God in Daily Life
Pray Continuously: Make prayer a constant part of your day. You can pray while doing routine tasks, turning those moments into meaningful communion with God. Whether you're preparing a meal, driving, or taking a break, use these opportunities to communicate with God, sharing your thoughts, worries, joys, and thanksgivings.
Prayer Walks: Go for walks in your local area, and as you do so, pray for your neighbors, your community, and any issues that come to mind. It's an active and engaging way to intercede for others while appreciating God's creation. A prayer walk can refresh your mind, keep your body active, and your spirit attuned to the needs of your community.
Pray with Others: Share prayer time with your family, friends, or prayer groups. This not only strengthens your own faith but also helps build a strong community of believers. Praying together forges spiritual bonds, allowing you to experience the joy of seeing God answer collective prayers and encourage one another in the faith journey.
Pray Before Decisions: Involve God in your decision-making process. Before you make decisions, no matter how trivial they seem, pause to pray. Ask God for wisdom and guidance. It's a way to acknowledge that God is the leader of your life, and it also keeps your mind and heart open to divine direction and peace.

“The authors’ empathy is palpable, and they are refreshingly candid in admitting their struggles to live by their own advice, such as when Speer asks readers if they have changed themselves to win others’ approval and responds, “This is where I slowly raise my hand and admit, I have.” This kindhearted volume has a lot to offer.” –Publisher’s Weekly
